This Privacy Policy describes how Khetiwadi ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our website and services at https://khetiwadi.com (the "Service"). It also describes your privacy rights and how the law may protect you. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.   • Service means the Khetiwadi website and related applications (mandi bhav, articles, tractor information, etc.).

We do not sell your Personal Data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Payments and Membership Billing

When you buy a paid Buy & Sell membership, payments are processed by Razorpay on behalf of Khetiwadi Agritech LLP. We do not store your full card or UPI credentials on our servers; Razorpay handles payment authentication in line with its security standards.

We and our payment processor may process information such as:

  • Name, email address, and phone number associated with your account
  • Plan type, amount, currency, and billing period
  • Razorpay order ID, payment ID, refund ID, and payment status
  • Technical logs related to checkout, webhooks, and fraud prevention

Razorpay's use of your data is also governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy. Refunds, where approved, are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (e.g. for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcing our agreements). Usage Data may be retained for a shorter period, except where needed to improve security or functionality or where we are legally required to retain it longer.

7. Data Security and Transfer

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personal Data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in India or elsewhere; by using the Service, you consent to such transfer. 11. Advertising and Google AdSense

12. Meta, Facebook, and WhatsApp

Some Khetiwadi features may use services provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates (including Facebook and WhatsApp), such as signing in with Facebook, connecting a WhatsApp number, or receiving notifications or messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform. When you use those features, Meta may process information according to its own policies in addition to this Privacy Policy.

12.1 Information we may receive from Meta

Depending on how you use the Service, we may receive:

  • Basic profile information from Facebook Login (for example name, email, or profile picture), if you choose to connect
  • WhatsApp phone number and messaging-related identifiers needed to send or receive messages you request through our Service
  • Technical and delivery data (for example message status) to operate notifications and support

We use this information only to provide and improve the Service (for example account sign-in, OTP or alerts, Buy & Sell communication, and customer support), not to sell it to third parties for their own marketing.

12.2 How we use WhatsApp-related data

If you opt in to WhatsApp messages from Khetiwadi, we may send service-related messages (such as login codes, listing updates, or support replies). You can stop WhatsApp messages by replying as instructed in the message, adjusting settings in your account where available, or contacting us. Message and data rates may apply.

12.3 Deleting your data

You may request deletion of personal data we hold about you, including data linked to Facebook or WhatsApp use, by following the instructions on our User Data Deletion page or emailing [email protected] with your registered phone number and account details. We aim to process valid requests within 7 business days, subject to legal retention requirements.

12.4 Meta's policies

Your use of Facebook and WhatsApp is also governed by Meta's terms and privacy policies, including Meta Privacy Policy and WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
